Aston Martin Powerboat Arrives in Monaco

After 24-months of painstakingly meticulous development, the Aston Martin powerboat has arrived.

The AM37—unveiled last week during the Monaco Yacht Show—is Aston Martin’s first foray into the nautical world, and capstone project of the brand’s Art of Living Programme, where carefully crafted commercial partnerships create luxury lifestyle goods that mirror the values of Aston Martin.

The AM37 is more than a glitzy powerboat, it is a direct assault on the status quo of the nautical world. Two years of research and development combining the best in innovative technology and bespoke craftsmanship have created a signature vessel that is a cut above anything else on the water.

Experience the AM37

Begin in the cabin where mood-lighting, air-conditioning, lavatory facilities, and comfortable bed transform the AM37 from day-cruiser to luxurious overnight birth.

Beyond the cabin, dynamic proportions craft an exterior that defines elegant simplicity. A wraparound windscreen built from a single piece of sculpted glass drapes the foredeck in fluidity, while sliding deck technology allows owners to cover the cockpit completely with three lightweight carbon panels at the touch of a button. When it’s time to take a dip, the carbon fibre bimini top stowed under the engine hatch can also be extended from the aft deck as a swim platform.

At the helm of the AM37, a carbon fibre dashboard echoes the style of Aston Martin’s most advanced sports cars. All functional features including the steering wheel, throttle, and joystick are constructed from hand polished metals and fine leather in-lays, while the boat’s navigation, control monitor, and entertainment systems are all integrated with advanced multimedia functions.

The alliance behind the AM37

Transfusing the DNA of a terrestrial legend into a maritime concept required a close partnership between the naval architects of Mulder Design, the nautical engineers of Quintessence Yachts, and—of course—the creative minds of the Aston Martin design team.

Quintessence Yachts

Quintessence Yachts leans on a conflicting passion for innovation and tradition to create new nautical concepts that are strikingly balanced in style, performance, and design.

When asked about the company’s participation in the project, CEO for Quintessence Yachts, Mariella Mengozzi said:

“It’s been an exciting journey and we have relished partnering with Aston Martin on such a special project that blends craftsmanship with futuristic technology – the perfect mix for this unique powerboat. We took on the challenge to create a true revolution on the water and an extraordinary powerboat, and I’m delighted to present the AM37, a new way of experiencing life at sea”.

Mulder Design

Mulder Design specialises in crafting captivating designs for high-speed and luxury yachts in the 10 to 75 meter range. As a company, Mulder Design pursues a single principle:

“A yacht must reflect the owner’s personality and lifestyle which, in the case of the AM 37, it most certainly does.”

Aston Martin Art of Living

Art of Living works to reflect the core values of Aston Martin, through curated lifestyle experiences and luxury goods that capture the essence of travel, sport, fashion, and culture.

Speaking to Art of Living’s role in the production of the AM37, Katia Bassi, VP of AML & Managing Director of AM Brands commented: “We are so proud to present the AM37, an exclusive powerboat for the yachting world. With this project Aston Martin, the icon of style and technological innovation, confirms its place as a top luxury brand. The Aston Martin Art of Living is a way of life that captures the very essence of the Aston Martin brand, and AM37 is a fine example of this philosophy.”
