Bentley Plans Extraordinary Alpine Drive

From February 1st through 7th, Bentley will host a journey to remember that sweeps across the continent of Europe, stretching from the award-winning banquet halls of Le Talbooth in Essex to Verbier in Switzerland. Along the way, attendees will be able to enjoy luxury hotels, exclusive chateaus, the grounds of Dom Perignon, and the seamless mechanization of the Breitling factory.
7th
The automotive odyssey begins (as previously mentioned) on the 1st with a lavish dinner and top-tier wines at Le Talbooth, in the heart of Constable Country, after which guests will motor a short distance to the banks of the River Stour and drive aboard the Stena Hollandica. Guests will be treated to post-dinner dessert and drinks before laying down for the night in the best available Captain’s Class cabins and suites while the ship steams towards the Hook of Holland.
Having successfully moored in Dutch waters, the group will say “farewell” to the Hollandica to drive in-convoy to the legendary grounds of the Abbaye de Dom Perignon tucked away in the hills above Reims where the first monks discovered the true meaning of effervescence. A privately guided tour will lead guests across the world-famous vineyards before leading to the cellar door for a tasting. Day two will finish with a glamourous, once-in-a-lifetime dinner courtesy of the grandest Maison de Champagne in France.
6th
Day three takes drivers up through the Jura Mountains to La Chaux-de-Fonds, home of the world-famous Breitling Chronométrie, where company representatives will be anxiously waiting to share the intricacies behind the art of fine watchmaking. The lakeside city of Neuchâtel will be the final destination for the evening where Breitling will not only host a mouth-watering selection of hors-d’oeuvres and entrées at the Combeta Farmhouse, but also present each driver with a specially engraved, limited edition Breitling for Bentley timepiece.
3rd
The final day of driving, Day Four, will start slowly—a casual stroll through the timelessly cobbled lanes of Gruyères, and a light lunch featuring locally sourced fares—before gradually accelerating into an afternoon drive to Verbier for two-days of world-class skiing (all equipment and passes provided).
Blend
Those less inclined to physically hit the slopes can relax at Chalet 14 where a dedicated concierge can help guests take advantage of Verbier’s unforgettable Après-ski— saunas, swimming pools, bars, private theatres, and—of course—the legendary mountainside nightlife.

The 5th and 6th of February (Days Five and Six) will be fully dedicated to taking advantage of one of Switzerland’s finest ski regions—ski-instructors will be on-hand for anyone aiming to hit the slopes, and masseuses will be on-hand for anyone who hits the slopes just a little too hard.
12th
Finally, on Day Seven, all guests will pack up and head to the local airport for transport back to the UK by way of Geneva. Upon safe arrival on British soil, guests will be able to pick up their fully-detailed car from their local H.R. Owen Bentley dealer.
Bentley’s Extraordinary Alpine Drive is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to enjoy a fully catered journey across some of Europe’s most jaw-dropping terrain from the comfort of your own car. As availability is extremely limited—what spots remain are few and far between—H.R. Owen strongly encourages interested parties to contact their local Bentley dealer immediately in order to secure a booking.
If there are any questions surrounding the particulars of this highly-anticipated drive, please call H.R. Owen with your queries.
