This bespoke Ferrari California T will showcase a new high-tech “Mycro Prestige” fabric exclusively engineered for use with Ferrari vehicles. Thanks to fibres that are only 0.7mm thick, Mycro Prestige is 1/3rd the weight of classical leather and highly resistant to moisture while remaining both porous and breathable. Smokers in particular will appreciate the final feature of the Mycro Prestige—it’s flameproof.

The Maranello tradition began in the 1950s when Ferrari clients first started personalising their cars in measurable numbers. At the time, owners enjoyed huge freedoms in material, colours and finish resulting in vehicles that redefined what it meant to have a truly unique car.

Drawing on that prestigious past, Ferrari Tailor-Made gives owners the liberty to outline every last detail of their Ferrari—from interior trim to the style of wheel, just about anything can be altered upon request. This provides Ferrari clients with a level of exclusivity that’s simply unrivalled anywhere else in the automotive industry.
Tailor-Made Ferrari
Clients partaking in the Tailor-Made programme are invited to Maranello and led into a large, dedicated area that looks more like a haute couture studio than anything else. Endless material, treatment and colour samples are displayed and a specially engineered material scanner provides owners with a preview of the final result.
Owners are also given unprecedented access and assistance as they’re guided through the customisation process by their very own Ferrari Personal Designer. The Designer is responsible for ensuring the final product is both unique and consistent with the Ferrari tradition.
Once the car has been defined in detail, clients monitor the various stages of customisation right up until their Ferrari is ready for delivery.
