Nearly three weeks ago on Friday, October 21st, more than 40 proud Lamborghini owners gathered in sunny Oulton Park for a highly unusual and highly regarded affair—the Huracán test drive day.
H.R. Owen guests had the rare opportunity to not only sit behind the hand-stitched wheel of the Huracán LP610-4, Huracán Spyder, and Huracán LP580-2, but push each of the three cars to their limit on a full circuit of Oulton.
They also had the opportunity to run the cars through a series of highly-technical handling exercises including wet grip, slalom and “stop in the box.”
Due to the resounding success of the event, H.R. Owen has already made plans to add a repeat event to its 2017 calendar.
Oulton Park
Famed motor track of Cheshire, Oulton Park Circuit occupies the land formerly held under the title of the Oulton Estate—well-known for its use during the Second World War by legendary American Army General, George S. Patton. Oulton Park was also used as a fighting venue by hall of fame boxer, Joe Lewis.
The full-circuit—enjoyed by H.R. Owen’s Drive Day guests—is 2.8 miles of shifting grades, blind turns, and tight corners.
